Neuland — contemporary, contagious, bold, and a terrific compliment when used with script writing. When paired with pointed brush or nibs, tech writing tools, ruling pens, Italic or thin pressure style Roman hands, Neuland is an alphabet worth its weight in gold!
Yes, it really shines with Gold Leaf!
We will concentrate on the hand, as it was intended and designed by Rudolf Koch, and then the fun begins — stacking, stretching, using really wide nibs and tools, preparing pages with numerous words and Neuland marks.
A variety of media will be demonstrated which could enhance and enliven your words and designs. Then, we begin combining different scripts ( of your choosing ) to revel in the play of thick and thin, bold or delicate, and uncommon versions of the letters leading to finished works and also lots of future reference.
