Making a calligraphic mark doesn’t mean your tool has to be a pen with a metal nib, quill or even a brush. Marks can be made with just about anything. A bundle of broom straws, a piece of a Coke can, a sea shell, a piece of wood veneer—what do they have in common? All can be used to make your unique mark in a piece of calligraphy, as an accent or as a whole piece.
Join us for this Guild meeting to see demonstrations, make some tools, and then try out some unique, fun tools to add to your arsenal. No pressure-all levels welcomed. Free.
